Dahlia Shopping FAQ’s
We’re so glad you’re here! Thank you so much for supporting our small farm! Below you’ll find a few helpful details to make your dahlia shopping experience smooth and enjoyable.
Placing Your Order
Once an order is placed, it’s final and can’t be changed or canceled. If you’d like to add more items, you’re welcome to place an additional order.
When Orders Ship
Shipping begins after April 15th, weather permitting, to ensure your tubers arrive safely.
Multiple Orders
At this time, we’re unable to combine multiple orders or shipping. Thank you for your understanding!
Receiving Your Tubers
Please open and check your tubers as soon as they arrive to be sure they’re in good condition. If you notice any issues, let us know within 3 days of delivery so we can help. After that, care and responsibility for the tubers pass to the buyer. Because growing conditions vary, we’re unable to guarantee performance once planted.
Where We Ship
We currently ship within the continental United States only (excluding Alaska and Hawaii).

Purchase Limits
Due to the wonderful interest in our dahlias, some varieties have per-household purchase limits. These limits help us share our dahlias with as many growers as possible. Orders exceeding these limits may be adjusted or canceled to keep things fair for everyone.
Final Sale Policy
All sales are final.
ROE Dahlias and Seedlings
How many years do you grow your dahlia seedlings before introducing them?
All of our Roe dahlias are carefully grown for a minimum of three growing seasons here on our farm before being introduced to the market. This ensures the plants are strong, healthy, and ready to thrive in your garden.
Do you send your dahlia seedlings to American Dahlia Society (ADS) trial gardens?
Some of our dahlias are sent to trial gardens in the U.S., but not all. We send only those we know are show-quality.
Do you show your dahlias at American Dahlia Society (ADS) shows?
Yes! We love taking our dahlias to shows. Some of our dahlias have even won blue ribbons and head table honors. If you show our dahlias, please tag us so we can celebrate your success! It’s always exciting to see our dahlias shining in shows and appearing in the ADS handbook. We’ve also labeled our show-quality dahlias under each description, so you can easily see which varieties are real winners.
Trademarks or Patents
Our Roe dahlias are not covered by any federally registered trademarks or patents.
Royalties
No, we do not require royalty payments on the sale of Roe dahlias. If you’d like to support our hybridizing work simply out of kindness, we would be thrilled to hear from you!
International Shipping
We’re currently exploring options to make Roe dahlias available to international customers. If you’re interested in exploring this option with us, please contact us directly.
Our Virus Management Protocol
-
We closely monitor our plants and remove any that show signs of virus as soon as they are identified.
-
All cutting tools are sanitized between plants during harvesting and tuber division.
-
While we take extensive precautions, we cannot guarantee virus-free stock, as our plants are field-grown and exposed to natural environmental conditions.
-
We actively manage pests and diseases and promptly remove any plants that show symptoms of virus.
-
Our farm is inspected by the Washington State Department of Agriculture during the growing season to help ensure our crops are free of regulated diseases and quarantine pests.
